J.K. Rowling Breaks Silence On Her Absence From Harry Potter Reunion

Harry Potter’s reunion episode was quite awaited among fans. It was  released this year in the month of January. Fans got to see their  favorite characters reuniting back and revisiting memory lane.

The special episode/film was named ‘Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return To Hogwarts’.In the reunion episode, there was one person who was missing.

It was none other than J.K. Rowling,  the loved author of the Harry Potter books. Many were wondering if it  may be because of the transphobic controversy that took place.

But no, that wasn’t the case as J.K. Rowling has finally addressed her absence in the reunion special.

In an interview with Graham Norton’s Radio Show podcast, she revealed the reason for not being present at the reunion.

The Harry Potter author says that yes she was invited to the reunion, but it was her decision to not be a part of it.

she says, “It was about films, not the books, quite rightly. That was what the anniversary was about.”

She clearly stated that she was invited, no one restricted her for that and it was her choice not to go.
