Election Commission has announced presidential election to be held on 8 july 2022.

The counting of votes will be done on 22 july 2022.

In the Presidential elections 2022,  total of 4,809 electors will be voting through ballot paper  on 18 july 2022.

29 june 2022 is the last date for filing of nomination , while    2 july 2022 is the last date for withdrawal of Candidature

Election Commision said that no political  party can issue Whip to its party member.

The president of India is indirectly elected by an electoral college comprising of

Elected members of the Rajya Sabha, Lok Sabha, and all state Legislative Assemblies (including that of Puducherry and Delhi).

Our Current President Ram Nath Kovind's five-year term will come to an end on 24 July 2022.

India will get its new President On 25 july 2022.
