Late on Thursday, the former president demanded the public release of the warrant that the FBI used to raid his Mar-a-Lago estate earlier this week.

He demanded that the documents be made public immediately in a post on Truth Social.

After Attorney General Merrick Garland announced that the Justice Department had taken steps to unseal the warrant, Trump made his comments hours later.

While acknowledging that the warrant author(s) are “radical left Democrats,” Trump said he was “encouraging” the immediate release of documents related to the FBI search of his home.

“I will not only not oppose the release of documents related to the unAmerican, unwarranted, and unnecessary raid and break-in of my home in Palm Beach, Florida, Mar-a-Lago, but I will go even further by ENCOURAGING the immediate release of those documents,” he wrote.

“Even though they have been drawn up by radical left Democrats and possible future political opponents, who have a strong and powerful vested interest in attacking me, much as they have done for the last 6 years…” the ex-president continued.
