The Commanders do not want the recent history to be brought up. They probably don’t appreciate the focus being placed on particular features of the present.

Tickets to the team’s preseason opener against the Panthers are available on the secondary ticket marketplace GameTime for as little as $1, according to Daniel Kaplan of TheAthletic.com.

Yes, you may watch the team that represents the city that bears George Washington’s name for the price of a single tiny photo of him. (I won’t lie; $1 is probably still too much.)

Ticketmaster.com, the team’s authorized resale site, now offers tickets for $30.

The level of interest in the team appears to be unchanged. One of the early training camp sessions had an embarrassingly little turnout, and league office and congressional investigators are still looking into owner Daniel Snyder. In all honesty, it will be best if he leaves sooner rather than later.

Unfortunately, he most likely won’t leave until he is absolutely prepared and ready. The league is hesitant to take him on, whether out of a desire to avoid a protracted legal battle or perhaps out of concern that he might cause issues with what he knows from his 23 years as an owner.
