According to the transaction wire, the Packers picked up tight end Nate Becker off waivers from the Panthers on Monday.

Thursday saw Becker join the Panthers, but by Sunday he was already gone.

Green Bay has reduced their roster to 88 players after waiving center Cole Schneider, outside linebacker Randy Ramsey, and cornerback Donte Vaughn.

Becker, now 26 years old, has been with the Bills for chunks of the past three seasons.

He played for the Bills in one game in 2020, and that appearance lasted all of four special teams snaps. To this day, that’s the only game he ever played in.

Becker spent three years at Miami of Ohio, where he played in 13 games and caught 19 passes for 209 yards and two touchdowns. He signed with the Lions after going undrafted in 2019.
