Buffalo’s defensive line now has some much-needed reinforcements back.

On Friday, the Bills announced that they had taken Eli Ankou off the physically unable to perform list.

After spending training camp with Buffalo last year, Ankou went on to play for three other teams before returning to Buffalo in November. Over the course of five games, he contributed nine tackles, a sack, and a tackle for loss for the Bills.

The Texans signed Ankou as an undrafted free agent to begin his professional career in 2018. He has played for four different teams in the regular season, including Jacksonville, Cleveland, Dallas, and Tennessee, for a total of 33 games played (3 starts).
