2024 Kia Sorento Facelift Rendered To Imagine Fresh Look

There are tweaks to the headlights and fascia.

The fascia and headlights have been modified.

The Kia Sorento’s latest generation made its debut in 2020 and went on sale in America for the 2022 model year. Despite the fact that the model feels so new, a refresh is coming. The redesigned face of the crossover is seen in this rendering by Kolesa.

The 2022 Kia Sorento is displayed next to this rendering in the two pictures below. The largest alterations are to the top grille. The running lamps for the revised model are integrated into the headlights’ primary structure. The grille’s center is connected to the headlamps by metal spears.

The lower fascia differs somewhat. Now there are vertical lights. Instead of having a split between them, the upper and lower grilles are now separated by a single, continuous piece.

The revised Sorento’s redesigned wheels are the only side-facing upgrades to anticipate.

Look for a slight evolution of the current appearance at the back. The bumper’s sculpting may be somewhat altered, and the taillights may be changed.

The refresh’s associated technical modifications remain completely a mystery. The Sorento is now offered with a variety of powertrains. The base engine is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder with naturally aspirated displacement that produces 191 horsepower (142 kilowatts) and 182 pound-feet (247 newton meters) of torque. A 2.5-liter four-cylinder with a turbocharger produces 281 horsepower (210 kW) and 311 lb-ft of torque (422 Nm). Total output from the 1.6-liter turbocharged engine with hybrid assistance is 227 horsepower (169 kW). 261 horsepower is produced by a plug-in hybrid powered by a turbocharged 1.6-liter engine and a 13.8 kilowatt-hour battery (195 kW).

According to a trademark application, Kia plans to introduce a tough X-Pro version of the Sorento and Telluride. They would probably mimic the changes made to this trim on the most recent Sportage. On that particular model, there are LED fog lights, heated washer nozzles, and 17-inch matte black wheels with B.F. Goodrich all-terrain tires. One possibility for a roof is two colors.

Kia has not yet released information about the 2023 Sorento. However, it seems premature to start the refresh at this time. Perhaps the upgraded model for the 2024 model year will be revealed.
